CLAPHAM The brief for this property was very simple, to make this house stand out in the competitive lettings market around Clapham Common. The owner had fallen into the “lettings trap”. The decor and furnishings were designed to be neutral and therefore appealing to the biggest number of potential tenants. The problem was the house looked bland and ordinary.   So faced with a tight budget and an even tighter time schedule I started by de cluttering and then dressing the house so that it became a contemporary home.   The project took 1 month from start to finish and within days the owner had a number of offers from which to choose from. The owner was thrilled, for less than half the monthly rent he’d secured the ideal tenants. The tenants were thrilled because they loved how the house looked so much so they asked to keep everything. All they had to do was move in and enjoy.
